Most of my clients arrive with a problem that is simple in their own country and confusing here — a rejected residence permit, a lease they were asked to sign in Czech, an employer who changed the terms after they started. I handle residence and work permits, permanent residence and citizenship applications, purchases and leases of Czech property, employment contracts and terminations, and family matters including marriage, divorce and custody where one parent is not Czech. I explain what the law actually requires before we start, in English, and I tell you when something is not worth pursuing. The first consultation is listed on my profile above — where it is free, that is stated there. If a fee applies, you will be told the amount before the meeting is confirmed, never afterwards.
How quickly will I get a reply?
My usual response time is shown in my profile header. Inquiries sent through CasePilot reach me directly, and I aim to reply to every one, including the ones I cannot take on.
Can you work with clients remotely?
Yes. The consultation types I offer are listed on my profile — where online or phone is among them, the whole matter can usually be handled without meeting in person, and documents can be exchanged electronically.

I have been dismissed. Is there a deadline to act?
Yes — employment claims are subject to strict time limits, and they are shorter than most people expect. Get advice quickly, even if you are undecided about acting.
Do you advise employees, employers, or both?
Tell me which side you are on when you write. Where I cannot act because of a conflict, I will say so straight away rather than leave you waiting.
Can you check a property before I buy?
Yes. I check ownership, encumbrances and the terms of the contract, so that anything affecting the property is known to you before you are committed.
Do you handle escrow for the purchase price?
Secure handling of the purchase price is a normal part of a conveyance. I will explain the options and what each one protects you against.
Can you help with a residence permit application?
Yes — including preparing the application, assembling the supporting documents, and dealing with the authority's questions afterwards.
My application was refused. Can it be appealed?
Often, yes, but appeal deadlines are short and strictly applied. Send me the decision as soon as you can so the remaining time can be used properly.
